HelixZyme™ RNase Inhibitor (Recombinant), a recombinant protein of rat lung RNase inhibitor expressed in E. coli, effectively inactivates a broad spectrum of ribonuclease including RNase A, B, and T2. Use RNase inhibitor to protect the RNA in cDNA synthesis, one-step RT-PCR, RNA synthesis, RNA preparation, etc.

Enzyme activities: Inhibits enzymatic activity of RNases by noncovalently binding to the active site.

DNase contamination test: Not detectable (Incubation with 40 U enzyme and pUC19 plasmid at 37 ℃, 1 hr)

RNase contamination test: Not detectable (Incubation with 40 U enzyme and human total RNA at 37 ℃, 1 hr)

Activity test in RT-PCR and qRT-PCR: Correspond to reference (Human total RNA target)
