PureHelix™ Genomic DNA Prep Kit (Column type) is designed for rapid and high purity isolation of genomic DNA from whole bloods, tissue culture cells, animal tissue, plant tissue, yeast, Gram-positive or Gram-negative bacteria. This kit is a spin column-based method and then can completely remove PCR inhibitors such as divalent cations and proteins and in results, obtain the high purity genomic DNA by the elution with low-salt solution or water. Due to no use of phenol, this kit is safe and does not produce any harmful waste. DNA purified with this kit is suitable for a variety of applications, including PCR amplification, digestion with restriction endonucleases and membrane hybridizations.
