Description

HelixAmp™ Direct Genome Amplifier [Rice] is a whole genome amplification kit suitable to amplify the whole genome from a grain of rice before or after hulling without DNA purification steps. The whole genome amplification using HelixAmp™ Direct Genome Amplifier [Rice] is performed by Multiple Displacement Amplification (MDA) based on isothermal amplification. Because of the strand displacement activity, strong 3’→5’ exonuclease activity and extreme processivity, Phi29 DNA polymerase could produce DNA up to 100 kb long with high fidelity. The amplified genomic DNA with this kit could be applied for successive PCR, genotyping, and library constrictions.

Quality Control

HelixAmp™ Direct Genome Amplifier [Rice] was tested for the direct amplification from a grain of rice seed that homogenized by the suitable apparatus at 30℃ for 2 hours.
